BACKGROUND

On June 30, 2000, Harbor Springs Water Co., Inc., filed with the Commission 
under its revisions to its currently effective Tariff WN U-1, designated as:

   First Revised Sheet No. 2 Canceling
   Original Sheet No. 2 and 
   Original Sheet No. 21.

It appearing that the filing herein would increase rates for service rendered 
by respondent and that the rights and interest of the public might be 
injuriously affected thereby, the Commission, on July 31, 2000, entered a 
Complaint and Order Suspending Tariff Revisions.

The Commission is now in receipt of a letter dated November 28, 2000, whereby 
respondent requests that the tariff revisions filed in this docket be withdrawn.

From all indications, it appears to be in the public interest to accommodate 
the request and to concurrently dismiss the Complaint and Order Suspending 
Tariff Revisions.

  This matter was brought before the Commission at its regularly scheduled open 
meeting on March 28, 2001.  The Commissioners, having been fully advised in the 
matter, and having determined the following order to be consistent with the 
public interest, directed the Secretary to enter this order and related 
provisions.

 O R D E R

THE COMMISSION THEREFORE ORDERS That the tariff revisions, filed in this docket 
UW-001028, shall be and the same are hereby withdrawn, and that the Complaint 
and Order Suspending Tariff Revisions in this docket dated July 31, 2000, shall 
be and the same is hereby dismissed.
