G-235 ) SUSPENDING TARIFF ) PAGES AND GRANTING ) TEMPORARY RATES Respondent. ) ) M E M O R A N D U M On May 12, 2000, Northwest Waste Industries, Inc., filed revisions to its current tariff to become effective July 1, 2000. The filed tariff revisions consisted of increased rates for residential and commercial solid waste collection, residential recycling and yardwaste. Recycle commodity adjustments appear on the following designated pages: Tariff No. 2 Fourth Revised Page No. 13 Tariff No. 2 Third Revised Page No. 15 Tariff No. 2 Fourth Revised Page No. 25 Tariff No. 2 Fourth Revised Page No. 26 The Commission suspended the pages designated as containing recycle commodity credits on June 28, 2000, to allow for hearing or hearings to ensure the rights and interests of the public would not be injuriously affected. Pursuant to review of the filing and staff's recommendations, the Commission finds that temporary rates should be allowed. O R D E R IT IS ORDERED That the proposed rates of Northwest Waste Industries, Inc., in Tariff No. 2, pages Fourth Revised Page No. 13, Third Revised Page No. 15, Fourth Revised Page No. 25, and Fourth Revised Page No. 26 be suspended, and further that the carrier is authorized to implement and collect, on a temporary basis, said rates to become effective July 1, 2000.
