                  On August 16, 2000, ICG Telecom, Inc. (ICG) filed with the 
Commission a request for extension of the deadline for activating the 206-859 
prefix assigned to it by the North American Number Plan Administrator. ICG 
requests an extension until October 31, 2000.
                  The WUTC has authority, pursuant to 47 CFR 52.15(i), to 
reclaim number resources, including telephone prefixes assigned within 
Washington. In exercising this authority, the WUTC must give the company an 
opportunity to explain the circumstances causing the delay in activating and 
using the prefix. 
                  The specific reasons for ICG's delay in activating the 
206-859 prefix have been designated confidential by the company. The WUTC has 
reviewed the specific circumstances cited by the company and determines that 
its request should be granted.
         THE COMMISSION THEREFORE ORDERS That the requested extension of time 
until October 31, 2000, for the use of number code 206-859 by ICG Telecom, 
Inc., be granted.
