BEFORE THE WASHINGTON UTILITIES AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION WASHINGTON UTILITIES AND ) TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION ) DOCKET UW-970542 ) Complainant ) ORDER vs. ) EFFECTING WITHDRAWAL ) OF TARIFF REVISIONS Frog Pond Waters, Inc. ) AND DISMISSING ) COMPLAINT AND ORDER Respondent ) SUSPENDING TARIFF REVISIONS . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ) On March 25, 1997, Frog Pond Waters, Inc., (Frog Pond) filed with the Commission revisions to its currently effective tariff, in Docket UW-970542. The company requested an increase in its rates of approximately $44,000 per year. Frog Pond currently serves approximately 470 customers in the Seabeck Area of Kitsap County. The water company filed with the Commission revisions to its currently effective Tariff WN U-1, designated as: Fourth Revision of Sheet No. 21 First Revision of Sheet No. 22 The stated effective date was April 30, 1997. On May 18, 1997, Frog Pond requested an extension to the effective date of its filing until May 29, 1997. It appearing that the filing herein would increase charges and rates for water service rendered by respondent and that the rights and interest of the public might be injuriously affected thereby, the Commission, May 28, 1997, entered a Compliant and Order Suspending Tariff Revisions. The Commission is now in receipt of a letter dated May 28, 1997, whereby respondent requests that the tariff revisions filed in this docket be withdrawn. From all indications, it appears to be in the public interest to accommodate the request and to concurrently dismiss the Compliant and Order Suspending Tariff Revisions. O R D E R THE COMMISSION THEREFORE ORDERS That the tariff revisions, filed in this docket UW-970542, shall be and the same are hereby withdrawn, and that the Complaint and Order Suspending Tariff Revisions in this docket dated May 28, 1997, shall be and the same is hereby dismissed.
