UT-002024 ORDER APPROVING REVENUE OBJECTIVE OF $51,300 BACKGROUND 1 On December 19, 2000, M&L Enterprises, Inc., (M&L) filed tariff revisions and in its cover letter expressed an additional request for formal approval of a $51,300 WCAP Interim Universal Service Pool Revenue Objective. 2 The Revised tariffs and the WCAP Revenue Objective come as a result of the Company completing construction of drop wires to serve 150 access lines rather than the projected 180. FINDINGS 3 The Commission finds it is not inconsistent with the public interest for the tariff to go into effect on the stated effective date, and that the WCAP Revenue Objective is justified in order to provide the universal service support necessary to provide service in the high-cost location. 4 The Commissioners have reviewed the petition and have been fully advised in the matter. They believe that granting the petition is in the public interest, subject to the conditions set for below, and direct the Secretary to issue the Order. ORDER 5 THE COMMISSION ORDERS that the Revenue Objective of $51,300 is hereby approved, and the tariff revisions filed jointly in this docket are allowed to go into effect as field by the Company. DATED at Olympia, Washington, and effective this 11th day of January 2001. WASHINGTON UTILITIES AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION CAROLE J. WASHBURN, Secretary
