REQUEST FOR CONTINUANCE OF PART B SCHEDULE

TO PARTIES OF RECORD: 
On October 27, 2000, the Commission served notice to parties that they must 
serve and file their answer to Qwest's request for a continuance no later than 
Wednesday, November 1, 2000. In order to expeditiously resolve the request, the 
Commission further requests that parties serve and file their answers before 
12:30 p.m. on that same date. 
The Commission is considering the possibility of allowing parties to make oral 
presentations in addition to filing answers, and, if oral presentations are 
allowed, will inform the parties of the opportunity as soon in advance as 
possible.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that parties must serve and file their answer no later 
than Wednesday, November 1, 2000, 12:30 p.m. Parties may fax file and serve 
their answer if they also file and serve a paper copy on the next business day.
