NOTICE OF SUSPENSION OF PROCEEDINGS
Re: In the Matter of the Petition of Barbara Brady for an Exchange Area 
Boundary Change  Docket No. UT-991931
TO ALL PARTIES OF RECORD:
On June 9, 2000, GTE Northwest Incorporated (GTE) filed a Settlement Agreement 
executed by Barbara Brady, GTE and Commission Staff in In the Matter of the 
Petition of Barbara Brady for an Exchange Area Boundary Change, Docket No. 
UT-991931. The parties request that the Commission enter an order approving the 
Settlement on or before June 30, 2000. Upon approval of the Settlement 
Agreement, the parties request the Commission to issue an order dismissing the 
petition in Docket No. UT-991931.
Since the need for the remainder of the procedural schedule remains uncertain 
pending the Commission's review of the settlement, it is appropriate to suspend 
the proceedings. 
Notice is given that the procedural schedule in this proceeding is suspended 
pending the Commission's consideration of the proposed settlement.
