  On March 5, 1998, San Juan Transit, Inc., C-1006, filed with the Washington 
Utilities and Transportation Commission revisions to their current tariff 
naming rates to become effective April 5, 1998.

  At the Commission's open public meeting of March 25, 1998, the Commission 
suspended the filing to allow for investigation and hearing to ensure the 
rights and interests of the public would not be injuriously affected.

  On June 2, 1998, the carrier filed a petition requesting authority to 
withdraw filing TC-980296.

  The public interest is served by granting the request to withdraw, and by 
dismissing the Complaint and Order suspending the filing.

O R D E R

  IT IS ORDERED That the tariff filing in Docket TC-980296 is withdrawn; and 
that the Complaint and Order suspending the filing is dismissed.
