  On July 25, 1997, the Commission entered its Initial Order in Docket No. 
UE-971088 authorizing Puget Sound Energy ("PSE") to file certain tariff 
revisions complying with the terms of that Order.  On July 31, 1997, the 
Commission received a tariff filing from PSE purporting to comply with the 
Commission’s Order.


FINDINGS


  The Commission finds that the tariff revisions filed by Puget Sound Energy on 
July 31, 1997 are in accordance with the intent of the Commission’s Initial 
Order in Docket UE-971088 and that the tariff revisions should become effective 
as filed.


ORDER


  THE COMMISSION THEREFORE ORDERS That the tariff revisions filed July 31, 
1997, by Puget Sound Energy, which are attached and by this reference made a 
part of this Order as though fully set forth herein, shall become effective as 
filed. 


  THE COMMISSION FURTHER ORDERS That jurisdiction is retained by the Commission 
to effectuate the provisions of this and prior orders entered in this docket.
