The revised page is the Fourteenth Revision of sheet 1-a, Schedule A, canceling the Thirteenth Revision of Sheet 1-a, Schedule 1. The tariff sheet bears an inserted effective date of May 10, 2001. This date recognizes statutory notice as required. The company requests, however, that statutory notice be waived and that the revision become effective May 1, 2001. The purpose for the filing is to set permanent rates per the Stipulation Regarding Rate Design and Ratemaking Issues and the Settlement Agreement on Revenue Requirement Issues, respectively, as accepted by the Commission in Docket UR-950619 and UR-950620. Since the tariff revision filed herein is fair, just and reasonable, and waiver of statutory notice is not inconsistent with the public interest, the Commissioners direct the Secretary to enter this order granting the waiver with an effective date of May 1, 2001. FINDINGS After careful examination of the tariff revision filed herein by US Ecology, Inc., April 10, 2001, and giving consideration to all relevant matters and for good cause shown, the Commission finds that the tariff revision should become effective May 1, 2001. O R D E R THE COMMISSION THEREFORE ORDERS that the requested waiver of statutory notice in connection with the tariff revision filed herein by US Ecology, Inc., April 10, 2001, is hereby granted, and said tariff revision shall become effective May 1, 2001.
