NOTICE OF PREHEARING CONFERENCE

(1:30 p.m., June 15, 2000)

RE: In the Matter of the Investigation Into U S WEST COMMUNICATIONS, INC.’s
 Compliance with Section 271 of the Telecommunications Act of 1996.
 Docket No. UT-003022

TO PARTIES OF RECORD:

The Commission gives notice to all parties of record of the time and place 
established for a prehearing conference in this proceeding.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a prehearing conference in this proceeding will be 
held on Thursday, June 15, 2000, beginning at 1:30 p.m., in the Commission’s 
Hearing Room 206, Chandler Plaza Building, 1300 S. Evergreen Park Drive SW, 
Olympia, Washington.

The purpose of the conference will be to discuss logistics and the mechanics of 
the hearing, to mark exhibits, and to address any procedural concerns the 
parties may have.  Parties will be expected to have all of their exhibits 
distributed by the start of the conference, including those intended for use on 
“cross examination” of the Company’s witnesses.
