Agreement Between AMERICAN TELEPHONE TECHNOLOGY,   INC., and GTE NORTHWEST, 
INCORPORATED
  Docket No. UT-990390

TO ALL PARTIES:

  The Commission convened a prehearing conference in this matter on Tuesday, 
September 28, 1999, at Olympia, Washington.  On October 8, 1999, a prehearing 
conference order (PHC Order) was entered and served on the parties.  The PHC 
Order required that (1) the parties file an issues matrix on October 20, 1999, 
and exchange proposed cross-examination exhibits by noon, October 21, 1999, (2) 
an arbitration hearing be held at 9:00 a.m., Monday, October 25, 1999, and (3) 
both parties file and serve opening briefs on November 8, 1999, and reply 
briefs on November 15, 1999.

  ATTI requests, and GTE does not object, that the schedule be revised to 
accommodate the availability of ATTI’s expert witness  The Commission finds 
that good cause has been shown and the request is granted.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That (1) the parties should file an issues matrix on 
October 22, 1999, and exchange proposed cross-examination exhibits by 5:00 
p.m., October 28, 1999; (2) an arbitration hearing will be held at 1:00 p.m., 
Tuesday, November 2, 1999, in room 108 at the Commission’s offices; and (3) 
both parties shall file and serve opening briefs on November 10, 1999, and 
reply briefs on November 17, 1999.  The PHC Order shall control in all other 
respects.
