July 26, 2000 NOTICE OF OPPORTUNITY TO FILE RESPONSES TO REQUEST FOR CONTINUANCE AND EXTENSION OF TIME (4:00 p.m., July 26, 2000) RE: Bellingham Cold Storage Company and Georgia-Pacific West, Inc. vs. Puget Sound Energy Docket Nos. UE-001014 and UE-000735 TO PARTIES OF RECORD: On July 25, 2000, at 4:49 p.m., the Commission received Puget Sound Energy, Inc.’s “Request for Continuance and Extension of Time.” PSE seeks to extend the date for answers to the Complainant’s “Motion for Implementation of Optional Price Stability Provision of Special Contract And, If Necessary, For a Retail-Accessed Pilot Program” from July 27, 2000 to August 14, 2000; to schedule oral argument on the motion; and to reopen the prehearing conference to adjust the schedule of the proceeding to take into account any deadlines affected by the motion. The Commission finds good cause to allow parties to file responses to PSE’s request and further finds expedited responses are necessary due to the schedule in this proceeding.
