TO ALL PARTIES OF RECORD:
On May 1, 2000, New Edge Network, Inc. (New Edge), and U S WEST Communications, 
Inc. (U S WEST), jointly requested that the prehearing conference previously 
scheduled for May 1, 2000, be continued. The stated purpose of the request is 
to allow the parties opportunity to conduct further settlement negotiations. 
The request is granted.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the prehearing conference is continued to Tuesday, 
May 9, 2000, beginning at 1:30 p.m., in the Commission's Conference Room 108, 
Chandler Plaza Building, 1300 S. Evergreen Park Drive SW, Olympia, Washington. 
Parties may attend via teleconference. U S WEST agrees to initiate a 
teleconference by calling the conference room, 360-664-1340, and New Edge at 
the time set for hearing.  A court reporter will not be present unless 
requested by a party in advance of the conference.
