TC-980488 ) ) SUPPLEMENTAL ORDER ) DISMISSING COMPLAINT, ) LIFTING SUSPENSION ) AND APPROVING ) PROPOSED RATES ) ) ) ) ) ) On March 27, 1998, Pacific Northwest Transportation Services, Inc., C-862, filed with the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission revisions to its current tariff naming rates to become effective May 1, 1998. The revisions consisted of: General rate increase. At the Commission's open public meeting of April 29, 1998, the Commission suspended the filing for investigation and hearing to ensure the rights and interests of the public would not be injuriously affected. The Commission staff has now completed its investigation and determined that the rates and charges as filed are fair, just and reasonable. At the open public meeting of July 22, 1998, staff recommended that the rates should be allowed to become effective as filed. Pursuant to review of the filing, testimony and staff recommendations, the Commission finds that the Complaint and Order suspending Docket TC-980488 should be dismissed and the rates be allowed to become effective. O R D E R IT IS ORDERED That the Complaint and Order issued April 29, 1998 suspending Docket TC-980488 is hereby dismissed. IT IS ORDERED That the rates contained in Docket TC-980488 shall be authorized to become effective July 23, 1998 on a permanent basis.
