Recommendation:

Suspend the tariff and rate increase application of Pearson, Sharyn & Zepp, 
Linda, d/b/a Centralia-SeaTac Airport Express, LLC, C-993, contained in Docket 
TC-001901.

Discussion:  

On December 6, 2000, the above-named company filed proposed tariff revisions 
naming $2.00 one-way and $4.00 round trip fare increases.  At proposed levels, 
one-way adult fares to SeaTac from Centralia and Olympia will Be $36 and $26 
respectively.  This Company serves SeaTac Airport from Lewis County and points 
in Thurston County.  Present rates have only been in effect for a short time, 
but the Company has now decided to implement a “competitive” pay scale and 
benefit package for their drivers and other employees.  The proposed effective 
date of the increases is January 6, 2001.

A data request has been sent to the Company asking for more specific 
information in support of the proposals, but so far no response has been 
received.  It is therefore recommended that the Commission suspend the tariff 
application of Pearson, Sharyn & Zepp, Linda, d/b/a Centralia-SeaTac Airport 
Express, LLC, C-993, contained in Docket TC-001901.
