NOTICE OF CORRECTION TO 
BENCH REQUEST NO. 2 
 (May 10, 2000 filing for responses to objections)
RE:          In re Application of U S WEST, Inc. and Qwest Communications 
International, Inc., Docket No. UT-991358
TO ALL PARTIES: 
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE That Bench Request No. 2 is corrected to require that 
answers to any objection to the documents provided in response to Bench Request 
No. 2 being made exhibits must be filed by close of business on May 10, 2000. 
On May 2, 2000, the presiding Administrative Law Judge issued Bench Request No. 
2 that requires U S WEST and Qwest to furnish certain documents to the Bench. 
The Bench intends that the documents provided in response to Bench Request No. 
2 will be made exhibits, absent objection. In light of the shortness of time 
available before Initial Briefs are due, Bench Request No. 2 requires that any 
objection must be provided in writing simultaneously with the companies' 
response. For the same reason, answers to any objections must be filed on an 
expedited basis. Due to a typographical error, Bench Request No. 2 states that 
answers to any objections must be filed by close of business on May 15, 2000. 
The date for answers should be May 10, 2000, to permit adequate time for a 
ruling prior to the date for Initial Briefs, May 12, 2000.
