The fees, due on or before December 31 of each year, cover the costs of fixing rates, publishing tariffs and distributing tariffs in the following year. The fee covering the 1998 fee year is now before the Commission for consideration. The commission has considered the number of tariffs anticipated to be produced in the state in 1998 and the anticipated costs of producing and distributing such tariffs. Being fully advised, IT IS ORDERED That the fee to be paid to the Commission under the provisions of RCW 81.80.150 be raised from $23.00 to $24.00 per tariff maintenance subscription.
