BEFORE THE WASHINGTON UTILITIES AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION In the Matter of the Requested ) Less than Statutory Notice in ) DOCKET UW-951396 Connection with the Tariff ) Revision filed by ) Mirrormont Services, Inc. ) L.S.N. ORDER . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ) On December 6, 1995, Mirrormont Services, Inc., (Mirrormont) filed with the Commission a revision to its currently effective tariff WN U-1 in Docket UW-951396. The revision is designated as Seventh Revision of Sheet No. 21 Cancelling Sixth Revision of Sheet No. 21. Mirrormont currently serves approxi-mate- ly 670 customers in the Issaquah area. The tariff sheets bear an inserted effective date of January 6, 1996. This date recognizes statutory notice as required. The company requests, however, that statutory notice be less than required and that the revisions become effective December 27, 1995. This tariff revision is a filing for an increase of Mirrormont’s metered service rate. The company is requesting L.S.N. treatment to coincide with the next scheduled billing cycle to occur at the end of December. This filing is a refiling of the rate increase proposed in Docket UW-951096. The rates in this filing are at staff-recommended levels and are lower than those originally noticed in Docket UW-951096. Since the tariff revisions filed herein are fair, just, and reasonable, and less than statutory notice is not inconsistent with the public interest, the company is requesting an effective date of December 27, 1995. FINDINGS 1. Mirrormont Services, Inc., is a public service company subject to the jurisdic-tion of this Commission under the provisions of Title 80 RCW. Docket No. UW-951396 Page 2 2. As to form, the application herein, meets the require-ments of Title 80 RCW and the rules and regulations of the Commis-sion adopted pursuant thereto. 3. It appears, upon investigation, that the tariff for Metered Service is reasonable and consis-tent with the public inter- est and should therefore be ap-proved. 4. After careful examination of the tariff revisions filed herein by Mirrormont Services, Inc., on December 6, 1995, and giving consideration to all relevant matters and for good cause shown, the Commission finds that the tariff revisions should become effective December 27, 1995. O R D E R THE COMMISSION THEREFORE ORDERS: THE COMMISSION THEREFORE ORDERS That the requested less than statutory notice treatment in connection with the tariff revision filed herein by Mirrormont Services, Inc., on December 6, 1995, is hereby granted, and said tariff revision shall become effective on December 27, 1995. DATED at Olympia, Washington, and effective this 13th day of December, 1995. WASHINGTON UTILITIES AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION SHARON L. NELSON, Chairman RICHARD HEMSTAD, Commissioner WILLIAM R.
