(collectively "CenturyTel") filed a petition requesting a partial waiver of WAC 480-120-031(9), relating to quarterly financial reporting. The reason for this request, as stated in its petition, is to reduce unduly burdensome reporting requirements for an operation of CenturyTel's size and character in Washington. CenturyTel requests that it be allowed to submit only one "restated results of operations statement" for twelve months ended at the end of each quarter, together with "as booked" results of operations statements for each month in the quarter reported. Additionally, CenturyTel commits that it will respond in a timely manner to any requests for additional information, on an as needed basis. FINDINGS 1. CenturyTel companies are Washington corporations, and are public service companies subject to the jurisdiction of this Commission under the provisions of chapter 80.36 RCW. 2. The limited waiver of WAC 480-120-031(9), as described above and expressed in CenturyTel's petition, is reasonable and consistent with the public interest and should therefore be approved. O R D E R THE COMMISSION ORDERS; After the effective date of this order, CenturyTel is hereby granted the partial waiver of WAC 480-120-031(9) as described above and as requested in its petition.
