For Revision of Schedule 80 Pursuant to Conservation Asset Transaction DOCKET NO. UE-000108 ORDER APPROVING PERIODIC ADJUSTMENT BACKGROUND On January 28, 2000, Puget Sound Energy, INC. (“PSE” or “the Company”) filed a Periodic Adjustment Application with the Commission which: 1. Referred to Commission Order in Docket No. UE-971088 (the “Initial Commission Order”) issued in connection with the Pooling and Servicing Agreement dated June 27, 1997, a copy of which is attached as Appendix A to the Initial Commission Order (the “Agreement”) All terms used herein without definition take their respective meanings from the Agreement. , and declared that a Variance exists under the Agreement; 2. Sought a Revised Tariff in an amount equal to the Revised Tariff Amount; and 3. Set forth the Company’s determination that the Revised Tariff Amount is $12,080,416.13, requiring a revision to Schedule 80, on the terms set forth immediately below, such Revised Tariff to remain in effect until the earlier of (a) the next Rate Adjustment, at which time the allocation amounts set forth in a subsequent Revised Tariff shall take effect, or (b) December 31, 2001: Monthly Allocation Amount March 1, 2000 to July 1, 2001 to Customer Schedule June 30, 2001 Dec 31, 2001 Residential Schedule 7 $0.29 $0.02 Secondary Service Schedule 24 $0.63 $0.04 Secondary Service Schedule 25 & 29 $9.58 $0.63 Secondary Service Schedule 26 $68.37 $4.48 Primary Service Schedule 31, 35 & 43 $64.622 $4.23 High Voltage Schedule 46, 48 & 49 $2,350.942 and 3 Allocations to the Trust for those customers taking service under special contract or Schedule 48 are based on allocations to the Schedules such customers were on prior to taking service under special contract or Schedule 48. $153.21 Lighting Service Lighting Schedules $0.20 $0.01 FINDINGS OF FACT THE COMMISSION FINDS: 1. PSE is engaged in the business of furnishing electric and gas service within the state of Washington as a public service company, and is subject to the jurisdiction of this Commission. 2. In Docket UE-971088 the Commission issued an order dated July 25, 1997, which approved the Conservation Asset Transaction and procedures for periodic revision of Schedule 80. 3. On January 28, 2000, PSE filed a Periodic Adjustment Application for revision of Schedule 80 in accordance with the mechanisms set forth in the Conservation Asset Transaction. ORDER THEREFORE, THE COMMISSION HEREBY ORDERS: 1. Approval is hereby given for the Revised Tariff on the terms set forth, in Background paragraph 3 above. 2.
