NOTICE OF ORAL ARGUMENT ON MOTION
(1:00 p.m., Friday, July 28, 2000)

RE: Bellingham Cold Storage Company and Georgia-Pacific West, Inc.,
 vs. Puget Sound Energy, Inc.
 Docket Nos. UE-001014 and UE-000735

TO PARTIES OF RECORD:

On July 21, 2000, complainants Georgia-Pacific (GP) and Bellingham Cold Storage 
(BCS) filed in Docket No. UE-001014 an emergency motion for implementation of 
terms in contracts the complainants have entered with the respondent Puget 
Sound Energy (PSE).  

The Commission anticipates that the motion will be answered no later than 
Thursday, July 27, 2000.  The Commission is asking certain of the parties to 
respond by that date to bench requests served on the parties today.  

The Commission desires to hear oral argument upon this motion.  

ALL PARTIES PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, That oral argument is scheduled in this matter 
to begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2000 in Room 206 of the Commission 
offices, 1300 Evergreen Park Drive SW, Olympia, WA 98504.  Counsel must appear 
in person for any party who wishes to be heard on the subject of this motion.  
Persons who wish to listen to the argument via telephonic connection must make 
arrangements to do so no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2000 by 
calling Jennifer Watsek of the Commission Staff, at 360-664-1139.  Any 
telephonic connections available will be allocated in the order the Commission 
receives requests.
