NOTICE OF PREHEARING CONFERENCE

TO ALL PARTIES:

At the joint request of the parties, the noticed hearing on MCImetro’s motion 
to compel compliance with the Commission’s Final Order scheduled for August 24, 
1999, is hereby canceled.  The parties are engaged in discussions to resolve 
the issues raised in MCImetro’s motion. and U S WEST’s request for an order 
conference.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN That a prehearing conference in this matter will be 
held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 15, 1999, in the Commission's 
Conference Room 108, First Floor, Chandler Plaza Building, 1300 S. Evergreen 
Park Drive S.W., Olympia, Washington.  Parties may attend the conference by 
telephone by dialing the Commission’s conference bridge line, (360) 664-3846, 
at the appropriate time.  The time and place for further proceedings will be 
set at the prehearing conference or by later written notice.  The purpose of 
the prehearing conference is to discuss the status of negotiations between the 
parties.
