Re: Changes in Local Exchange and Intrastate Toll Services (“Slamming”)
 Docket No. UT-980675

TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS:

On October 22, 1999, the Commission inadvertently distributed a CR102 (Notice 
of Proposed Rule Making) and Notice of Opportunity to Submit Written Comments 
on Proposed Rules under Docket No. UT-991563.  That docket number is incorrect.

The correct docket number for rule-making issues relating to slamming remains 
UT-980675.  

The Commission has corrected the oversight and has taken steps to guarantee 
that any filing under either number will be directed to the correct file and 
handled correctly.  The correct docket number is unchanged for rule activity 
relating to slamming and you may continue to use that docket number.  We regret 
any confusion or inconvenience that this may have caused.
